CREATORS PROGRAM
The Creators Program is a community extension fundamental and continuing education program offered through Digiso @ WVSU EDC. In collaboration with the Arts Council of Kanawha Valley and the West Virginia Film Office, the Creators Program provides workshop instruction in anything that involves "creating" for the mass media, creative world and arts adminstration.
The workshops will be designed on 3 levels: 1) Fundamental 2) Intermediate 3) Advanced. Public demand will determine which topics proceed to more advanced levels.
Attendees will be given a Certificate of Participation after each workshop. Each meeting will count as 1 unit towards an overall Creators Certificate awarded after the completion of 20 workshop units. For example, if a workshop is a Friday evening and Saturday afternoon for 2 meetings, the attendee will be awarded 2 units.
As the program grows, and more advanced workshops are offered, Intermediate and Advanced Creators Certificates will be awarded.
ALL WORKSHOPS ARE HELD AT WVSU EDC 1506 KANAWHA BLVD W. CHARLESTON UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED
